Rhys Meyers and Nesbitt Golden Globe nominees



Jonathan Rhys Meyers and King James I Nesbitt ar amongst the nominees in the tv categories for the Golden Ball Awards.
Rhys Meyers has been nominated for Best Player in a Tv Series (Dramatic event) for his role as Joseph Henry VIII in 'The Tudors'.
He is up against Michael C Dormitory ('Dexter'), Jon Hamm ('Mad Men'), Hugh Laurie ('House') and Bill Paxton ('Big Love') in the Charles Herbert Best Role player family.
'The Tudors' was also nominated for Best Television Series (Dramatic event), along with 'Big Love', 'Damages', 'Grey's Anatomy', 'House' and 'Mad Men'.
Northern Irish star James I Nesbitt also bagged a nominating speech for C. H. Best Player in a Mini-Series or Movement Characterisation for Television for his role in 'Jekyll'.
Besides nominated were Disco biscuit Beach ('Bury My Warmheartedness at Wounded Knee'), Ernest Borgnine ('A Gramps for Christmas'), Jim Broadbent ('Longford') and Jason Isaacs ('The State Department Within').
'Damages' and 'Longford' both secured the to the highest degree nominations with four each.
'Damages' star Glenn Close was nominated for Best Actress in a Television Series (Dramatic play) on with Patricia Arquette ('Medium'), Minnie Driver ('The Riches'), Edie Falco ('The Sopranos'), Sallying forth Field of operations ('Brothers & Sisters'), Charles Hardin Holley Hunter ('Saving Grace') and Kyra Sedgwick ('The Closer').
'Longford' was nominated for Charles Herbert Best Mini-Series or Motion Painting Made for Television along with 'Bury My Tenderness at Maimed Knee',  'The Company', 'Five Days' and 'The State Within'.
Along with Broadbent's nomination for his role in 'Longford', his co-stars Samantha Jelly Roll Morton and Andy Serkis were likewise nominated in the playing categories.
Jelly Roll Morton was nominated for Topper Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Gesture Mental picture Made for Tv set along with Rose Byrne ('Damages'), Rachel Griffiths ('Brothers & Sisters'), Katherine Heigl ('Grey's Anatomy'), Anna Paquin ('Bury My Bosom at Wounded Knee') and Jaime Pressly ('My Diagnose Is Earl').
Serkis was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Character in a Series, Mini-Series or Movement Video Made for Video on with Teddy boy Danson ('Damages'), Kevin Dillon ('Entourage'), Jeremy Piven ('Entourage'), William Shatner ('Boston Legal') and Donald Joan Sutherland ('Dirty Sexy Money').
In that location were too nominations for 'Extras', '30 Rock', 'Ugly Betty' and 'Californication'. The awards ceremonial occasion will be held on 13 Jan 2008.
